Everything You Are Going Through Right Now

Everything you are going through right now or in the past is for you to help others going forward.
My absolute mantra for my business and life purpose.
If you haven’t gathered already I am all about vulnerability – as this is the crux of everything whereby we can help another human. Vulnerability isn’t sugar-coated, it isn’t wrapped up in marketing spiel, it doesn’t spiritually bypass.
It’s real, it’s raw and it’s human.
Many seem to fear vulnerability and it can be viewed as focusing on negative situations etc but if not practised in a self-pitying, dwelling type manner, it can be real and transformative.
Imagine if nobody ever dared to be vulnerable and share their true feelings… for fear of what others thought or they judged it as maybe being “negative” or other beliefs held.
Imagine if we never heard people’s truths, how would we ever be able to relate to another human being, soul to soul.
How would we ever be able to sit with someone in their pain and bring them the comfort of being heard and of holding the space for another?
The biggest gifts in my life were the big-hearted compassionate people who were able to listen. Who didn’t judge my pain and who were able to sit with me. When someone is deeply struggling with themselves, this is needed. People in this place need empathy, compassion and the knowing that they can be truthful and true to themselves.
It’s not always about “fixing” or finding solutions. Sometimes people just need it to feel safe enough to share from their heart and be heard. Hearing and reading other peoples stories allowed me to feel comforted and heard from afar, when there wasn’t always someone to listen, in the days gone by, way before the invention of the internet.
That’s why I shared my story, to sit with another in their struggle and to bring them the comfort of knowing they are not on their own.
That’s why I love to support other people to share their stories where we don’t shy away from the struggle parts – because that isn’t real and we are only telling half of a story. It’s not just about transformation – it’s about sharing it all.

THE INVISIBLE GIRL

You can read my full story here, from when I was ten years old and what happened to me. I was admitted to a psychiatric unit at fifteen and continued to suffer throughout my adult life with feelings of self-hatred, fear, darkness and not knowing who I was. I used addictions to help me to cope on the outside when the inside was chaotic. I finally found my healing and had a burning desire to share this with the universe to give love, hope and inspiration to others in pain.

Don’t tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass
