Permission To Be F*cking Happy

“When did you last have time to acknowledge that you are anything more than an overworked mother f*cker going through the motions of life without having the energy or the foresight that this is it?

This is your only shot at life and where your happiness comes from. Whilst you are distracted with spinning all the plates, you forget there is a life to live.”

This autobiographical/self-help book takes you on the entertaining but hard-hitting journey of self-awareness on Sarah’s mission to find happiness again. She lost her entire life’s infrastructure when she divorced on the cusp of turning forty. Equipped with her two little girls to care for, chronic illnesses, and financial challenges, she had to escape the dark hole she found herself in.

There is compelling evidence as to why true happiness is the only answer to true health and why it makes sense that it must be the only goal one strives for in life. Sarah shares a straightforward and actionable blueprint for finding happiness again amidst the sh*t show of mid-life. She gallantly demonstrates that stepping away from the maddening crowd and blazing a trail entirely bespoke to yourself is the bravest risk you can take.

THE INVISIBLE GIRL

You can read my full story here, from when I was ten years old and what happened to me. I was admitted to a psychiatric unit at fifteen and continued to suffer throughout my adult life with feelings of self-hatred, fear, darkness and not knowing who I was. I used addictions to help me to cope on the outside when the inside was chaotic. I finally found my healing and had a burning desire to share this with the universe to give love, hope and inspiration to others in pain.

Don’t tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass
